Graduate Athletic Therapist

50 Below Sports + Entertainment Inc. (50 Below) is a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada based company founded by local investors and hockey enthusiasts. The company owns and operates the Winnipeg ICE, Winnipeg Blues, RINK Player Development, RINK Goalie Development, RINK Hockey Academy, RINK Testify Performance as well as the Rink Training Facility at 57 South Landing Drive. 50 Below is excited to bring families, millennials and hardcore hockey fans together in the Hockey Capital of Canada--Winnipeg, Manitoba.

RINK Testify Performance is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill a position as a Graduated Athletic Therapist. Reporting to the Athletic Therapy Coordinator & Teams, the incumbent will provide athletic therapy services and assist with the assessment, management and treatment of acute and chronic athletic injuries among the hockey teams in the 50 Below organization. The clinic provides a busy, diverse, client-centered work environment for all its employees. This role may require the ability to work in non-traditional hours, often for extended periods of time outside the course of a typical working day.

Nature of duties and responsibilities
• Provide on-site athletic therapy coverage for home and away games;
• Clinical assessment and treatment of injuries on site of games;
• Collaborate with other members of the Sports Medicine, development, coaching team to ensure quality health care delivery for athletes and patients;
• Flexible schedule as most tasks require the ability to work non-traditional hours, often for extended periods of time outside the course of a typical working day;
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Recent graduates of a recognized school of Athletic Therapy
• Punctual for games
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, displaying initiative, excellent customer service, and abiding by the CATA code of ethics;
• Maintain professionalism
• Communicate positively with the clients and staff;
