50 Below Sports + Entertainment Inc. (50 Below) is a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada based company founded by local investors and hockey enthusiasts.  The company owns and operates the Winnipeg ICE, Winnipeg Blues, RINK Player Development, RINK Goalie Development, RINK Hockey Academy, RINK Testify Performance as well as the Rink Training Facility at 57 South Landing Drive.  50 Below is excited to bring families, millennials and hardcore hockey fans together in the Hockey Capital of Canada--Winnipeg, Manitoba.

RINK Testify Performance is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill a position as an Athletic Therapist. Reporting to the Athletic Therapy Coordinator & Teams, the incumbent will provide athletic therapy services and assist with the assessment, management and treatment of acute and chronic athletic injuries among the hockey teams in the 50 Below organization. The clinic provides a busy, diverse, client-centered work environment for all its employees. Employees of RINK work in a challenging and fast-paced environment that is committed to encouraging the development of new skills. It is critical that employees are able to adapt to a changing work environment and to acquire new skills as these become necessary. This role may require the ability to work in non-traditional hours, often for extended periods of time outside the course of a typical working day.

Nature of duties and responsibilities:
             Provide on-site athletic therapy coverage for practices, home and away games;
             Clinical assessment and treatment of injuries;
             Support the education and supervision of students who act as student trainers;
             Assist with the collection of preseason medical documentation and delivering CCES and concussion education seminars as needed;
             Collaborate with other members of the Sports Medicine, development, coaching team to ensure quality health care delivery for athletes and patients;
             Support and assist with the Sports Medicine Clinic’s daily operations;
             Offer administrative support for insurance billing, appointment scheduling, financial reports, evaluation and maintenance of annual records;
             Flexible schedule as most tasks require the ability to work non-traditional hours, often for extended periods of time outside the course of a typical working day;
             Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements
             Certified Athletic Therapist in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association; recent graduates of a recognized school of athletic therapy, attempting the CATA national certification exam in June are welcome to apply, but must be certified at the start of the contract;
             CSCS is an asset
             Show a passion for Athletic Therapy and its role in the Sports Medicine spectrum;
             Punctual for games, practices and appointments;
             Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, displaying initiative, excellent customer service, and abiding by the CATA code of ethics;
             Maintain professionalism inside and outside the clinic;
             Communicate positively with the clients and staff;
             RINK Testify Performance offers a competitive pay structure which will be determined based on education and experience.
