Certified Ergonomics Specialist Designation Program - Winnipeg

E.K. Gillin & Associates' nationally recognized Certified Ergonomics Specialist Designation Program (CES Program) is coming to Winnipeg November 19 - 23. There are a few spots left for health care professionals, safety professionals, safety and health co-chairs and committee members, design engineers and architects who work in or who are interested in working in ergonomics to attend.

In Manitoba, more than two thirds of the injuries reported to the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba are as a result of poor ergonomics. In order to improve these injury rates, it's important to have a solid understanding of the injury mechanism process and causes.

This week-long CES Program focuses on specific and teachable skills, including the science behind ergonomics, current ergonomic tools and assessment formats. Participants will also gain continuing education points for their current professional designations along with the right to use the CES designation (as permitted by professional association).

Date:       November 19 - 23, 2018 8:30am - 5:00pm
Location:     Imperial Building, 16th floor -363 Broadway Ave, Winnipeg
Cost:       $2,932.35 (including 13% HST and GST)
