One Year Term Position – Athletic Therapy



The Department of Kinesiology and Applied Health at the University of Winnipeg invites
applications for a one year term position. This appointment will be effective August 1, 2018.

Candidates will hold the designation of Certified Athletic Therapist CAT(C). A graduate degree
in Kinesiology or related therapy field is preferred. Ideally, the successful candidate will have
teaching and/or practical experience as a CAT(C). Teaching activities associated with this
position would support the Department’s Athletic Therapy program, and may include teaching
undergraduate courses related to Athletic Therapy, such as, Prevention and Care of Athletic
Injuries, Assessment of Upper and Lower Limb Sport Injuries, Human Anatomy, Pathology of
Sport Medicine, Applied Human Anatomy, Rehabilitation of Upper and Lower Limb Sport
Injuries, and/or coordination of practicum placements. For a detailed description and list of

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Health including streams in Athletic Therapy, Coaching, Exercise Science, as well as students
