Regional Hockey Academy - students and Athletic Therapists needed

The RHA (Regional Hockey Academy) based out of the RINK and Shaftesbury High School in collaboration with ELITE performance is looking for two or more third/fourth year Student Therapists or Certified Athletic Therapists for the upcoming 2016-2017 hockey season (end of August to end of March).

There is a Bantam (14-15 years old) and Midget (16-17 years old) team competing this year in which each team will play about 45 regular games throughout the season including out-of-town trips (10+). All travel to out-of-town games are by plane and with possible chartered bus, there will be no cost to the individual as all accommodations will be paid for.

We are looking for committed individuals who will be responsible in helping the Head Athletic Therapist with all player injuries, and general trainer duties.

Ex. Injury rehabilitation and prevention, documentation of all injuries and treatments, communicating all injuries to Head Athletic Therapist, helping conduct workouts, game and practice preparation, monitoring player nutrition, emergency care on the ice during practices and games.

This is a paid position of $250.00/month honorarium for certification candidates.  $500.00/month honorarium for Certified Athletic Therapists.

Therapists are expected to have their own fanny pack, though medical supply kit and therapy table will be provided.
