Course highlights:

• Indications and contraindications

• Applying muscle energy techniques to the pelvis/sacrum, lumbar, thoracic & cervical spine from different positions. Understanding the fundamental principles of manual therapy including:

  • How to accurately identify barriers, restrictions, and abnormal motions throughout the body

  • How to use proper biomechanics and accurately and safely apply short and long leverages

  • How to determine when it is most appropriate to use patient passive or active assistance
