Join Liz Cooper, B.A., STOTT Pilates Instructor Trainer & Instructor at Pilates Manitoba and Professional silks aerial artist for this 2 hour workshop to better understand the biomechanics of the shoulder. Review the structural anatomy and function of the shoulder girdle complex, scapular and humeral stabilization & movement, common injuries and how to prevent with better anatomical understanding. This workshop was co-authored with Dr JE Cooper, School of Medical Rehab, U of M,   and focuses on the anatomy & biomechanics of the shoulder complex and includes physical application for performing exercises with better alignment, stability, strength, and control."


This workshop covers the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder and also physical applications of the knowledge for better corrected and executed exercises. This workshop will interest MFC Fitness Leaders, Personal Trainers, Athletic Therapists, Yoga, dance, Pilates, Martial Arts, TRX and CrossFit instructors.
