WELLNESS FACILITATOR  (2 year full-time project)  

Reporting to the Disability Claims and Rehabilitation Administrator, the Wellness Facilitator will be responsible for researching, developing, implementing and evaluating a wellness initiative designed to promote optimum social, occupational, spiritual, physical, intellectual and emotional health of the teachers of Manitoba.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, organizational, assessment, analytical and presentation skills. This person will have experience in preparing marketing strategies, designing, organizing and distributing wellness educational materials and resources using advanced technology skills including social media to promote wellness programs and services as well as track metrics. This person will have demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans, goals and measurable objectives for health promotion programs and services.  The successful candidate will excel in the development and presentation of wellness workshops, seminars and presentations.  The position requires a university degree in an allied health field and a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience.  The ability to communicate in both oral and written French will be considered an asset.  This position will involve extensive provincial travel as well as working some evenings and weekends.

This project will be for a two (2) year duration with an ideal start date January 2nd, 2015.  This is 2 year full-time project with an annual salary of $85,000 per year.
