Job Posting - The Winnipeg Goldeyes

The local baseball club is requesting help from a Certified Athletic Therapist, a recent graduate, or a student that is coming up to graduation in the spring of 2014.

When the team is at home, the day would start approximately at 1pm and  finish at the end of the ball game. There are road trips that require the therapist to be away for days at a time, and a lot of hours, but it is a great experience and a chance to get involved with a professional sports team.

The successful applicant must be a team-oriented individual who is outgoing and organized. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills with a positive attitude. The individual will also be required to travel with the team on all road games; travel expenses will be covered by the team.

The job would start the last week of April and would end on September 1 or as late as September 15, depending on playoffs. There are 100 games, 50 home and 50 away, spread over a 109 day period.

There is an honorarium for the season, but it will be dependent on experience and education.

Interested members should contact Andrew Collier, GM of the Winnipeg Goldeyes at (204)982-2273.
